No online review can express how grateful we are to have had Jennifer as our Realtor during our first home buying process. Not only is she a seasoned finance industry professional, she’s a rare combination of warmth, expertise, firmness, and humor, regardless of home buying budget and goals. Even when our house search in Ulster County (summer and fall 2023) continued to result in unexpected twists, she never tried to sway our priorities, or overbid where we did not feel comfortable. Instead, she objectively would inform us of usual standards in her experience vs our search. She did this all while making sure we were reasonable in our requests, while also asking for what we prioritized! In the end, we got the first house we looked at, and she heard our reasons and offered nuanced and non-forceful feedback every step of the way, while explaining negotiating processes to us with clarity and great patience. During what is historically the most difficult time to buy a home in America yet, Jen was a priceless choice for us. Jennifer helped us buy our first home in the fall of 2018 - a magical 1890s farmhouse in Clintondale, NY. We LOVE it. The house was at the top of our budget but Jennifer was incredibly smart with how she presented us and our offer. Even though the seller received higher offers, Jennifer somehow made it happen for us. The whole process was not without complications though! We were living in Seattle at the time, and our inspection revealed some previously unknown issues with the property that required remediation. Jennifer deftly handled those negotiations and ensured that the seller took care of the issues completely and safely as conditions of the sale. We could not have asked for a better representative. She worked her butt off for us. We are so grateful to her for making our dream come true. Earlier this year we began looking into buying a commercial property and Jennifer was our first call. It's hard to put in words how much I recommend Jennifer. I am sure my words won't give enough justice to how wonderful she is! Jennifer was our broker when our family was looking for a second home in the Woodstock vicinity. My husband and I have very particular tastes and finding homes to fit our needs, isn't always the easiest. Jennifer patiently showed us upward of 35 homes until we walked into a sweet little old farmhouse with an I.G. pool, and with a significant creek running through the property. The house had good bones, but what really sold us, was the amazing energy got from it. Jennifer helped us through the offer process (which was accepted), the inspection, the mortgage application, and then some. All was looking good until the sale of my husband’s apartment fell through. This meant that we could no longer meet the requirements of the contract which was contingent on the sale of his property by a specific date. We were devasated at the prospect of losing the home we’d fallen in love with and starting over. So Jen worked with us to put together a proposal to the seller. After a heartfelt letter to the seller, and renting the home from him for a set period, we were able to close on the property AND had 3 months of living in it (as renters) until such a time. This was 13 years ago. Since then, Jennifer has managed more than a dozen other sales and rentals for us and our friends. Most importantly, she was able to help us acquire our dream home as well as manage the rental and finally the sale of our original property. ?Not only do we believe it, but our real estate attorney also mentioned at a recent closing that our broker is the smartest and the best in the business.
